Angels on the Greens

When I first started working for Erickson Marketing Studio, I helped to finish another website for Children's Angel Foundation, HaloRun. The Angels on the Greens website was created to promote the foundation's inagural celebrity golf tournament. Although I did not create the logo for the event, I came up with a design the compliments the horizontal balance of the brand by placing it in the top center of the design. The monochromatic green color scheme provides a simple and effective backdrop for this XHTML/CSS design. An alternate print stylesheet was created for the website to make printing the details of the tournament, or even the registration form as easy as going to File»Print.

When it came time to leave Vero Beach and go to college, I decided I was going for Computer Science. I abruptly changed my mind however at orientation because they said that if I wanted to do webdesign, I needed to be in Art: Graphic Design. Well, after finishing college with two degrees and spending some time in the industry, I realize that nothing is better than real life experience. The art and digital media classes I took at UCF fueled my enthusiasm for webdesign, but now it’s all about immersing myself in the projects. Through it all, I still have the same passion for internet technology, and pushing the limits of what I’m able to do with it is what I love.
